What is Manchester Sprint Club?

MSC is a premium youth sprint training program for athletes ages 8 to 16, based in Manchester.

We train young athletes the same way Olympic and professional sprinters train — but built around what kids actually need at their age. Speed, confidence, focus, and a love of sport that lasts a lifetime.

We're founded by Cesar Palacios (Sprint Project, 300K+ YouTube) and led on the ground by Head Coach Wyndell Dickinson. We coach pros at the highest level — including players in Europe's top football club — and we bring that same standard to every kid who walks into our gym.

Current Openings:

Program Assistant

Location: Manchester, UK (in-person) Schedule: Part-time — Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday

Hours: ~10 hours/week to start (grows with the club)

Pay: £30/hour base + £50 per new member signup

Start date: ASAP

About the Program Assistant Role

This is not a coaching role. We have coaching covered.

This is the role for someone who runs the floor like a pro — makes parents feel taken care of, keeps every session on time, tracks every athlete, and naturally organizes everything around her.

What You'll Do

• Run the floor at every tryout and member session
• Welcome every parent and child by name
• Track attendance, performance, and notes for the coaching team
• Keep sessions starting and ending on time
• Plan and coordinate MSC events: Christmas dinner, holiday parties, outdoor sessions
• Help maintain the member database and feedback surveys
• Be the calm, organized, warm presence that holds it all together

What We're Looking For

• Adult 25 to 40 living in Manchester
• Either has their own kids, OR has work experience with kids (teacher, TA, PE teacher, special ed, nursery, after-school coordinator)
• Elite organization. You think four steps ahead.
• Warm, patient, and genuinely loves working with kids ages 8 to 16
• Always early. Always on time. Always reliable.
• Comfortable with evenings, weekends, and occasional last-minute work
• Enhanced DBS already in hand (required — we cannot process this for you)
• Comfortable using WhatsApp, Google Calendar, Sheets, and our app
• UK resident

Compensation

We pay you for the work and we pay you when you help us grow.

Base hourly rate: £30/hour to start.

Per-signup bonus: £50 every time a new tryout becomes a paying member.

Growth ladder: As MSC grows, your hourly grows with us. We share where the next tier sits at your first interview.

Step 3 — In-person interview + observation. You come to a real tryout. We talk first. Then you watch us work.

Step 4 — Reference check + DBS confirmation.

Step 5 — Paid trial month. Full pay from day one. Both sides confirm fit.
